| Is the World Really Coming to an End? The World, as we know it now, is indeed coming to an end soon - right before our very eyes!
How do we know that this is happening? Many prophets in the Bible wrote about the “End of this world as we now know it” thousands of years ago.
2 “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the princes plot together, against Jehovah and against his anointed: 3 Let us break their bonds asunder, and cast away their cords from us!" (Psalms 2:2-3) (Darby) This verse does not refer to past rulers at all. His anointed – Christ – had not yet been born. It has yet to be fulfilled, just like this similar one that the Apostle John wrote centuries later: 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. (Revelation 19:19) (NIV) This ancient message has not yet been fulfilled either: "For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: Yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and he shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." (Psalm 37:9-11) (ASV) But it has started...
All of these verses are relevant to us today, because their message is about what is happening now – that is – the meek inheriting the earth after the trouble-makers are gone. Yet people tend to disbelieve this because these prophecies were written so very long ago and nothing ever seemed to happen. What does the Bible say about this? "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil." (Ecclesiastes 8:11) (New International Version) And sure enough, the people of the world can look at the world news and see the evil work going on daily. People are being killed in many countries by terrorists, guerrillas, even by their neighbors and friends. Just thirty years ago, “terrorism” was largely an unknown, and unused word. Now the word is used many times a day all over the world! The word “terrorism” is constantly on everybody’s mind. People who do not have faith that this system will end soon are scared. There is so much violence and injustice in the world now that it is very difficult for people to believe that it will ever end. But what does the Bible say? "...Ye shall not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts." (Jeremiah 25:29) (ASV) Does He really mean all of the inhabitants? "Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of Jehovah come upon you, before the day of Jehovah's anger come upon you. Seek ye Jehovah, all ye meek of the earth, that have kept his ordinances; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye will be hid in the day of Jehovah's anger." (Zephaniah 2:2,3) (ASV) 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. (Psalms 91:7-8) (NIV) Why is Jehovah angry? "Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? saith the Lord Jehovah; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?" (Ezekiel 18:23) (ASV) 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord Jehovah: wherefore turn yourselves [around], and live. (Ezekiel 18:32) (ASV) We do not enjoy having to live our lives with the wicked around, always getting into trouble, always making life miserable for everybody, including themselves. What did Jehovah say He was going to do about the stubbornly wicked people almost two thousand years ago? 15The glorious God is the only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords. At the time that God has already decided, he will send Jesus Christ back again. (1Timothy 6:15) (Contemporary English Version) 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. (Matthew 24:37-39) Can we be absolutely sure that God will do what He promised? 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. 11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. (2Peter 3:9-13) (NIV) Why is it that almost nobody seems to believe that "The End" is really coming? "...in the last days there will be scoffers who will laugh at the truth and do every evil thing they desire. This will be their argument: "Jesus promised to come back, did he? Then where is he? Why, as far back as anyone can remember, everything has remained exactly the same since the world was first created." (2Peter 3:3,4) (New Living Translation) This is why it will be such a shock to the people of the world when “The End” comes, just as Jeremiah foretold about three thousand years ago: “32 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great tempest shall be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth. 33 And the slain of Jehovah shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the face of the ground. (Jeremiah 25:32-33) (ASV) Notice here that the wicked people will not be missed. Not even close relatives. That is how bad their behavior will become at the end. After the wicked are thoroughly destroyed along with all traces of what people laughingly now call “civilization”, what will happen next? 6 And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. 7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:6-9) (ASV)

| Jehovah Is the Only God Are there really people in the world who believe that Christ is God?
That is not what God's Son, himself said. One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ (Mark 12:28-30) (New International Version) Christ was quoting from Deuteronomy:
4 Hear, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah: 5 and thou shalt love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. (Deuteronomy 6:4, 5) (American Standard Version) Notice that both Christ and the Bible agree that God’s name is Jehovah, not Jesus or Allah or Buddha. The Bible says that God's Son will rule the world with his chosen for a thousand years:
Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus, for proclaiming the word of God. And I saw the souls of those who had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their forehead or their hands. They came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4) (NIV) When the millennium is over, Satan will be turned loose again: 7 When the thousand years end, Satan will be let out of his prison. 8 He will go out to deceive the nations from every corner of the earth, which are called Gog and Magog. He will gather them together for battle--a mighty host, as numberless as sand along the shore. (Revelation 20:7-8) (New Living Translation) When Christ and his army crush and destroy Satan and his horde of followers, he will turn the kingdom back over to his Father:
"...the grand consummation when, after crushing the opposition, he hands over his kingdom to God the Father. He won't let up until the last enemy is down-- and the very last enemy is death! When everything and everyone is finally under God's rule, the Son will step down, taking his place with everyone else, showing that God's rule is absolutely comprehensive--a perfect ending! (1Corinthians 15:24-26,28) (Message Bible) Is the Bible positively sure that Christ is not Jehovah? 9 And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one. (Zechariah 14:9) (ASV) 5 I am Jehovah, and there is none else; besides me there is no God. (Isaiah 45:5) (ASV)

| The Great Day of Jehovah
More than three thousand years ago all of mankind was destroyed except for eight people! 16 "Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives." (Genesis 8:16) (NIV) How do we know that the story of Noah and the ark is a true story? Christ, himself talked about it to his disciples: “37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matthew 24:37-39) (New International Version) God's Son, who is referred to frequently as the "Son of Man", not only talked about the Great Flood as if it really happened, he also talked about the Great Day of Jehovah as if it is going to occur. That is because he knew it will! “From that time on Jesus commenced preaching and saying: ’Repent, YOU people, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.’” (Matthew 4:17) (NIV) Why would our Savior consider the Kingdom Message to be so important nearly two thousand years ago? The idea was that his followers would spread the message, acquire more followers and then the whole world would know about Jehovah’s intentions. Why did the work take so long? The world population has steadily increased to over six billion people now. The number of people who are spreading the Kingdom Message number only about seven million. It took time to inform the people of the world in every country and give them all a fair chance to hear and understand. 7 "But always, first of all, I warn you through my servants the prophets. I, the Sovereign LORD, have now done this." (Amos 3:7) (New Living Translation) “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2Peter 3:9) (NIV) "Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They all have the same Lord, who generously gives his riches to all who ask for them. For "Anyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved." But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" But NOT everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, "Jehovah, who has believed our message?" Yet faith comes from listening to this message of good news.“ (Romans 10:12-17) (New World Translation) -Watchtower.org What is happening now that the Kingdom Message has been preached throughout the entire world? “21 For that will be a time of greater horror than anything the world has ever seen or will ever see again. 22 In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, the entire human race will be destroyed. But it will be shortened for the sake of God's chosen ones.” (Matthew 24:21-22) (NLT) Are we near Jehovah's Day now? Yes! The world is in great turmoil with:
· Wars · Diseases · Earthquakes · Crime · Injustice · Terrorism · Famine and drought · Poverty · Flooding These are indeed the signs that we are very near the Great Day of Jehovah. There is still some goodness and optimism some- where in the world now but the problems will get worse and worse with no let-up. This is the time for all to hear this message and consider the source. The Bible is Jehovah’s words and His prophecies never go unfulfilled. People may believe that the Bible is an ancient book with no relevance in today’s world but that would be a grave error. What kinds of people ignore the Kingdom Message? Primarily, the people who love the world the way it is now. In spite of the world’s problems, there are a lot of things to enjoy in the world. People can be ensnared by: - Wealth and prosperity
- Seeking pleasure
- False teachings
- Lack of faith
- Apathy
- Addictions
- Ambitions
The Apostle John had this advice for the wise: “15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.” (1John 2:15-17) (NIV) Jehovah patiently waited for His work to be finished by His servants. Everyone in the world heard the Kingdom Message and made their choice: to ignore the message or join the effort to spread the message. There was no middle ground. People are either part of the solution or part of the problem. People who are part of the solution will have nothing to worry about as The End approaches: “10 Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.” (Rev 2:10-11) (NIV)
“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Jehovah, even Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2) (American Standard Version) The people who are the problem will be very afraid: 29 “Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ 30 ”At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” (Matthew 24:29-31) (NIV) When the people who rejected the Kingdom Message realize their error, it will be too late:
“18 There were flashes of lightning, roars of thunder, and the worst earthquake in all history. 20 Every island ran away, and the mountains disappeared. 21 Hailstones, weighing about a hundred pounds each, fell from the sky on people. Finally, the people cursed God, because the hail was so terrible.” (Rev 16:18,20-21) (Contemporary English Version)
“...Ye shall not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts. And as for you, you will prophesy to them all these words, and you must say to them, ‘From on high Jehovah himself will roar, and from his holy dwelling he will give forth his voice. Without fail he will roar upon his abiding place. A shout like those treading [the winepress] he will sing out against all the inhabitants of the earth. A noise will certainly come clear to the farthest part of the earth for Jehovah hath a controversy with the nations; he will enter into judgment with all flesh: as for the wicked, he will give them to the sword, saith Jehovah... And the slain of Jehovah shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the face of the ground.” (Jeremiah 25:29-33) (ASV) There are those who will say something like: “I can’t believe that a God of love would do such a thing to nice people like us!” Jehovah's prophets predicted this long ago.
17 You make God tired with all your talk. "How do we tire him out?" you ask. By saying, "God loves sinners and sin alike. God loves all." And also by saying, "Judgment? God's too nice to judge." (Malachi 2:17) (Message Bible)
He is a God of love to those who listen and obey Him. We must not forget that He is a God of Judgment as well:
“but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.” (Isaiah 11:4) (NIV)
And who is going to lead this battle?
29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 "It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. (Luke 17:29-30) (NIV)
What is that? God's Son will be the leader of the destruction?
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:11-16) (NIV)
The aftermath of Jehovah's Day and Armageddon will, according to prophesy, be a paradise on earth just as it was when Adam and Eve roamed the Garden of Eden:
“6 The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. 7 The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. 8 The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper’s nest. 9 They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord Jehovah as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:6-9) (ASV) This is Jehovah’s promise that when our world is taken away from the hopelessly corrupt clutches of mankind it will indeed be a paradise that will never be corrupted again by the ambitions of human political elements, petty thieves, bullies, liars, or anyone else who would spoil a worldly paradise for the rest of eternity:
“For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth. For just a little while longer, and the wicked ones shall be no more: Yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and he shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace... The righteous shall inherit the earth, And dwell therein for ever... Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, And he will exalt thee to inherit the earth; When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.” (Psalm 37:9-11, 29, 34) (ASV) This is the encouraging message for Jehovah's people. The world, as it exists now, is only temporary. All of the world’s problems will be taken care of soon. There is no need to agonize over how to solve the problems; the most important thing that we can do is accept the prophecies and spread the good news. Jehovah will take over from there and all of our problems will then be over.

| Whose Slave Are We?
People live under the false impression that they are free to do whatever they wish to do. Yes, there are countries in the world where the governments are harsh and repressive, but many people of the world have a degree of personal freedom, or do they? "All they have eyes for is the fashionable god of darkness. They think he can give them what they want, and that they won't have to bother believing a Truth they can't see..." (2Corinthians 4:4) (Message Bible)
Many kinds of actual slavery still exist in the world today. People are still owned by one or more masters, most, without even realizing it! Can these poor slaves free themselves? Yes. But most of these pathetic slaves do not want their freedom! How many people slave for MONEY? How many people slave for their CAREER? How many people slave for POPULARITY? How many people slave for their possessions? People will buy a very expensive home with expensive possessions and then lock themselves into long hours at a stressful job, a slave to their belongings. How many people slave for their addictions? People all around the world deliberately addict themselves to tobacco, alcohol and drugs without a thought about how they may devote their entire lives to these heartless masters. How many people slave for their holidays? Yes, the holidays. People cook for long hours and toil to buy many expensive gifts, and go into debt for Christmas and hire entertainers for birthdays. It is a nice gesture but is it necessary? How many people slave for their looks? People exercise for hours, endure cosmetic surgery, endless dieting and purchase expensive health products just to look better, look younger, look more grown up; to appear more desirable in some way. How many people slave for their gambling habit and lose everything? These are some of our masters that we serve. How many people slave for their masters, their gods? All of us. We are a willing slave to at least one master! Which master should we serve? What about a worthwhile master, a loving one? Out of all of the masters we can and do serve, there is only one who loves us and cares about us. Most people tend to think that Christ is the master we should serve. But what does our Savior say? “6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 "This, then, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name…” (Matthew 6:6-9) (New International Version) 25 "Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." (John 17:25-26) (NIV) 3 Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. (1Cor 11:3) (NIV) Can we serve more than one master? 24 "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. (Matthew 6:24) (NIV) 34 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” (John 8:34) (NIV) Our Messiah is indeed a loving master, but he wants us to serve his Father, who is also our Father. 17 "Don't cling to me," Jesus said, "for I haven't yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them that I am ascending to my Father and your Father, my God and your God." (John 20:17) (NIV) 19 Jesus told the people: I tell you for certain that the Son cannot do anything on his own. He can do only what he sees the Father doing, and he does exactly what he sees the Father do. (John 5:19) (Contemporary English Version) Will we always be slaves to Jehovah?
15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. (John 15:15) (NIV) 13 For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. 14 For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." 15 But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another. (Galatians 5:13-15) (NLT) What is our reward for serving Jehovah? 9 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" (1Corinthians 2:9) (NIV) The promise was made by Jehovah long before His Son even born. 1 "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people-everyone whose name is found written in the book-will be delivered. (Daniel 12:1) (NIV) The Apostle John reminds us that no matter how incredible it may sound, every single person who has ever died will rise again back to life and face final judgment: 28 "Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out-- those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned. (John 5:28-29) (NIV) For the wise people who slave for JEHOVAH, there will be eternal peace and prosperity. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Revelation 21:2-4) (NIV) "Every man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid," (Micah 4:4) (NIV)

| INFLUENCED BY "UNCLEAN SPIRITS"
If there ever was an “unclean spirit", the world is currently possessed by it. The epidemic of terror, hate, violence and evil that has possessed our world is the very essence of unclean. The moral decay of the world is testimony to the “unclean spirits” that are pervading every aspect of humanity.
”For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12) (New Living Translation)
Criminals in all countries are killing, torturing and/or sexually molesting their victims in a way that is appalling to even consider. Even Catholic priests are now infamous for sexually molesting children. It appears that the governments, religious elements and everybody else besides are being overcome by "unclean spirits" just as the Bible foretold! Yes, Biblical prophecy foretold that in the "Last Days", unclean spirits would influence many situations on the world scene. Unclean demonic spirits have overtaken the world situation. The world has indeed become possessed!
"And I saw come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs -- for they are spirits of demons, doing signs -- which go forth unto the kings of the earth, and of the whole world, to bring them together to the battle of that great day of God the Almighty; -- and they did bring them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Armageddon." (Revelation 16:13,14,16) (Young’s Literal Translation)
The evil spirits intend to lead us and the world leaders to destruction. This will occur exactly as it was foretold thousands of years ago: "Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed messiah." (Psalm 2:1,2) (American Standard Version)
"The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against his Anointed One." (Acts 4:26) (New International Version)
16 Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. (Revelation 16:16) (NIV) "...Then I saw... the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army." (Revelation 19:19) (NIV)
Where is Armageddon? " 'Armageddon': Hebrew 'Har Megiddo' and means literally "the mount of Megiddo." - Eric H. Cline; Assistant Professor of Archaeology and Ancient History Dept. of Classical and Semitic Languages; The George Washington University "Megiddo... lies at a strategic junction of roads running north- south and east-west. Located in Mesopotamia (modern Iran/ Iraq). Virtually every invading army that came through this region during the past 4000 years fought battles for control of Megiddo and the Jezreel Valley." - Eric H. Cline; Assistant Professor of Archaeology and Ancient History Dept. of Classical and Semitic Languages; The George Washington University
Is it merely a coincidence that many UN military forces are stationed now in Baghdad, Iraq just 300 miles away? Is it a coincidence that Iran, Iraq and many other Arab states are in turmoil right now? Is it merely coincidence that the UN has armies from many nations stationed in Lebanon just outside of the Jezreel Valley? What do secular sources say? "The Apocalypse - Judgment Day - The End of Times - Armageddon. Students of the Bible know it as the place where the cataclysmic battle will unfold. Many believe that this battle will take place in the very near future, but few know that Armageddon is a real place - one that has seen more fighting and bloodshed than any other spot on earth." - Eric H. Cline; Assistant Professor of Archaeology and Ancient History Dept. of Classical and Semitic Languages; The George Washington University The unclean tactics of the world's leaders and their armies leads us to believe that indeed - "The Unclean Spirits" of Revelation are gathering the kings of the Earth and their armies to the Great Day of God - The Almighty Jehovah. The fact that they have been gathered to within 300 miles of the area may very well indicate that we are watching Bible Prophecy that was written thousands of years ago being fulfilled, right now, before our very eyes! What can we do about this? How can we protect ourselves from this overwhelmingly powerful evil?
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. (Ephesians 6:13) (NLT) 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Matthew 24:13) (NIV) How do we acquire God’s armor? (Isaiah 41:10) (ASV)
